Burial or Cremation

When you choose to bury a loved one there are a number of things you will need to consider:



  • Where will they be buried? At Harts, we can help you contact local cemeteries in the Yeppoon and Rockhampton area.
  • Do you want a crypt, mausoleum or below ground burial?
  • Do you want a viewing? Some people feel it is important to see their loved one to say a last goodbye.
  • Will you have a chapel or graveside service?
  • Will there be a wake afterwards?

Cremation

Should you choose cremation we can assist with the arrangements.



We will help you arrange a funeral service, after which we will collect and transfer your loved one in their coffin to the cremation facility of your choice.



At Harts, we can help you choose how to memorialise your loved one. The most common options include distribution of the ashes between family members, scattering the ashes or placing them in a memorial. You can also choose a combination of all 3.
